CORE INSPIRATION: FINDING REAL, RADICAL REST AND BALANCE:
This month, leaves are turning here in New York, and I’m lucky to be home. Actually, I’m not lucky, per se…I have made a big decision–to begin to stay home more than I go on the road.
It’s been three amazing years of rock-n-rolling around the world near-continuously, to answer the call of studios and festivals everywhere who are seeking more core strength training, more empowerment, and greater authenticity. The trouble is, I love what I do so much that I’ll give out until I burn out.
I know you know what I’m talking about.
And so I will be focusing more of my attention and efforts online. You can see in this newsletter all the fun ways you can stay in touch and study with me from your house, and I at mine:) There are some fantastic new technologies to keep us connected, and I’m inviting you to come and get your balance on, even as I do.
And when it comes to striking an even more brave, profound self-nourishing balance in your life, I’m not talking about taking a nap once a week–I encourage you to say a gusty ‘f@ck that!‘ to anything that is currently draining or misaligning with you.
Get rid of it, accept it or change it. But no longer let it take you farther away from your health and happiness instead of toward it.
Make all day, every day, an opportunity to look around yourself in each moment for ways you can seek Radical Rest Stops–these could be great energy, good food, loving company, inspiring thoughts, truthful, aligned actions and words, and intelligent agreements about how you’ll spend your life force and time.
Let’s make this the month of Radical Rest and Balance.
The more you look for it, the more it will show up for you.
Now can you show up for it too?
This is a process that may bring up some fear and resistance. If your self-relationship isn’t yet fully functional, you may, too deep inside even to hear yourself doing it, try to sabotage your health and healing in little and big ways. This is your lower self-valuing mechanism attempting to act out its small reality.
In actual, big reality, the one the Soul lives out–or tries to–every action you take on your own behalf is a direct pebble dropping into your deep ocean of self-worth and soulful, passionate love. The ripples even tiny actions can inspire will move out into your body, mind, heart, life, relationships, finances and your whole world will begin to shift more into the juicy-abundant shape of your new inner fullness.
